Library
We continuously update our library with new books, magazines and journals which are mostly management related. Apart from that, we also add the books that are necessary for the development of the students in various areas like leadership, soft skills, literature and so on. Our students can take the book for specific time period and renew the books as per their wish. We have facilitated with the learning area where students can read and have the discussion on the books/ articles or new proposition that are happening in the current market.
Co-learning center
Co-learning is a new concept in which students share their knowledge with each other. It is very vital in the 21st century. We have a separate section where students can discuss important current issues. They can also share their views on the topics taught in class. Students have a symbiotic relationship in school. Every student learns something from the other students.
Computer lab
Our computer lab is well-equipped with the latest computers. A well-equipped computer lab plays a vital role in modern education, helping students stay updated with technology and develop skills needed in the digital age. It provides a structured environment for students to enhance their technical knowledge, conduct research, and complete academic projects using modern technology.
Science lab
A science lab is a specially designed space where students engage in hands-on experiments and practical learning to explore scientific concepts. It provides an interactive and engaging environment where children can observe, experiment, and analyze various scientific principles in subjects like physics, chemistry, and biology.
By conducting experiments, students move beyond theoretical learning, developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and observational skills. A well-equipped science lab ensures safety, curiosity-driven learning, and innovation, making science more exciting and understandable.
Cafeteria
We have a well-equipped cafeteria should have essential facilities to ensure efficiency, hygine and comfort for our students. The food served at the cafeteria is hygine and nutritious. A professional chef is in charge of the cafeteria. Standard menu for breakfast, snacks and main course meal are available in our cafeteria. All students and members of the staff regularly take their food from cafeteria.
Game & Sports
Rising Star believes that sports are one of the vital components of anindividual’s life. It is necessary for team building, positive attitude development, leadership skills and physical growth. The school offers the following sports: table tennis, badminton, futsal, basketball and football. Tournaments on these sports are held at regular intervals.
Conference Hall
Our state-of-the-art conference hall, a versatile space designed to accommodate a variety of professional events, from meetings and seminars to conferences and workshops. With modern amenities, ample seating, and advanced audio-visual technology, our conference hall provides the perfect environment for productive discussions, presentations, and networking.
Dance & Music
Our dance and music classes, where creativity comes to life through movement and sound. This class is designed to help our students to explore and enhance their skills in both dance and music. Our talented instructors guide students through various styles, from classical to contemporary, while fostering an environment that encourages self-expression, confidence, and teamwork. Through rhythm, melody, and movement, our students discover the joy of artistic collaboration, all while building discipline and creativity. Arts and Crafts
Art and craft play a vital role in early childhood education by fostering creativity, self-expression, and fine motor skills. Engaging in activities like drawing, painting, cutting, pasting, molding, and creating crafts helps children explore their imagination while developing important cognitive and physical abilities. Through artistic expression, children learn to communicate emotions, enhance problem-solving skills, and build confidence. Craft activities also promote hand-eye coordination, patience, and concentration, making them an essential part of a well-rounded learning experience.
Handwriting
Handwriting is the ability to write letters and words in a readable and structured way using a pen, pencil, or other writing tools. Despite the rise of digital communication, handwriting continues to be a valuable tool for self-expression, learning, and communication. Good handwriting involves legible, neat, and consistent writing, which can enhance both the writing process and the final presentation of written work. Rising Star always believes and insists that handwriting is an important skill that contributes to effective learning, memory retention, and cognitive development, even in an increasingly digital world.
Yoga & Meditation
Yoga and meditation are ancient practices that promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. While yoga focuses on movement, flexibility, and strength, meditation helps calm the mind and improve concentration. Together, they create a balanced lifestyle.
Transportation
We offer transportation facilities for students. The school has its own fleet of buses operating in the major routes of Kathmandu valley. The system is managed by a team of experienced officials who ensure less travelling time for students. Our transport service is available within the area enclosed by the Ring Road. School buses are used when students need to go to different places for their school activities.
